New stuff on the site
As you can see, we're revamping the site a bit. Made it a 3-column format and am adding page tabs underneath the header above. They don't lead anywhere just yet. Will continue to fiddle with this in the coming days. Thanks to everyone who has been bringing me juices, vitamins, meds (me like meds...), chicken soup, and good vibes...I feel like I'm starting to get back in the saddle today although the throat and ears feel pretty infected yet...the lungs no longer burn like they did. Kim says I have walking pneumonia and I need to go to the doctor. We'll give 'er a few more days and see how I feel then. Anyway, thanks very much indeed.

Weekend Music
Haven't been posting much lately. Still fiddling with the laptop trying to recover some things from an online storage unit, and Kim and I have been fighting the cold/flu bug this week (feel pretty lousy right now). Should get back on the pony soon though. Here's a brief announcement about this weekend's music.
Mike hails from Chicago and his music is very much in the mold of old-time folk (ala' Woody Guthrie), country and blues (Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers).
Kerry Michaels
Kerry is working on a new CD and he'll be playing new tunes for that project. Kerry is always excellent...one of these days someone with some serious pull in the music biz is going to hear him, and off he'll go.Mike hails from Chicago and his music is very much in the mold of old-time folk (ala' Woody Guthrie), country and blues (Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers).

Stumpjack Coffee Company presents....
Some of you know that I have been without full computer capability lately. Hence the lack of blog updates and newsletters. still have a ways to go to get everything that I need back onto my hard-drive.
Saturday night (the 17th) The Herald Times Reporter had a really lovely piece on our pal Adam Morantez in today's Weekend Edition insert (by Ben Wideman). He's what my ol' artist friend Dr. Evermor used to call "good people." And he's a darn good performer too. Adam will be here Saturday night at 7:00. Make sure that you be here too, ok.
This is just a quick note about live music at Stumpjack this weekend.
Friday night (the 16th)
We are very giddy to have Matt and Steph Davies return to perform and they have a special guest sitting in with them Friday night: Nathaniel Seer via Bloomington, Indiana. Looking for some dang good, authentic, real and honest folk music? Then be here Friday evening at 7:00.
