Validation feels nice

I've been saying this about competition and Starbucks for a long time..."right next door please."

Basically, Starbucks gets people addicted to caffeine, and then the addicts find out that they can buy better coffee for cheaper without waiting in a huge line of pretentious arseholes while listening to music that sucks

How could Starbucks hurt?

Honestly, I don't even care for Starbuck's coffee. I think I have patronized their businesses twice, ever. You have to give an establishment a second chance. And I've never returned since then. I don't care for the cold atmosphere, or their coffee, or prices. And personally, I much prefer doing business with the private owners, then big corporations, which only make the rich richer.
